The porting cost me $400, we removed about a 1/16 t0 3/32 around the intake ports to match the intake runners and about 1/16 around the exhuast. The rest of the porting was pretty mild, taking no more than 1/16 off anywhere except deep inside the intake ports. They got dug out a little more than that.

Shaving the head probably did more than anything else bringing the compression up. With no turbo to force it up, that is our only choice. Nice thing about a NA is that it creates the power VERY quickly, no turbo lag, very nice for street use. The engine also revs much faster now, but ofcourse I can not make the top end power that a good turbo car can make. I'm using a 75hp NOS for that.
