Re: Help on Installing LED Mirrors on My 06 Cruiser
If I made the covers, it would be with new LEDs, rather than using the LEDs from the AM unit. I was thinking of doing just really bright yellow for the turns and bright white for when the high beams are on. I think I can just wire up the right resistors if needed and just run them in paralell with the regular turn signals instead of messing with a controller board.
I'm likely to go this route because I'll get brighter LEDs and will be able to customize them a little more anyways.
If I use the AM ones, I'd probably buy a set of mirrors from a junker and modify them so I don't have to drive without mirrors because I don't have a ton of free time. I've got cutting equipment and some other fabrication equipment, so I'll be fine on that end.
