Sorry to resurrect an old topic, but have been away for quite some time, and went back to search the subject of installing a manual boost controller on the GT. I see where there are two methods being espoused.

Was a consensus ever met on which of the two methods produces the best result - the original method posted by involving the boost control solenoid, or the "alternative" method where you "connect your ... BC pressure source off the manifold/breakbooster
hose/ or you can T off the side of the turbo."

Never did install my Hallman bc, and would like to do so now.
