Re: Built a garage yesterday
Well so far I'm quite happy. We've had a few nice storms, and the PT was snug inside the garage. I can very easily park my quad inside with the car, which I need to do now since I removed the stock airbox on it and run the airfilter in the open on the front rack for better airflow.
The garage is anchored by two 15" augers and two 30" augers. I checked into it and I can get vents for the top of the garage which I will do. Interestingly though I found that the inside of the garage can be sweltering while the interior of the car actually feels cooler than the outside temperature. I guess that's because there's no greenhouse effect inside the car when it's in the shade.
I don't know how long this fabric is supposed to last, but I'd think at least 5 years.
How much would a metal shelter like that cost? I'd need one with full sides as we have normally quite nasty thunderstorms with high winds and hail in summer, and will get tons of snow in the winter.
