I was also got caught not long ago in a rural area that had no premium, so I filled up with 87% regular, should have put just enough to get elsewhere, the next day I refilled with premium (about 10 gallons) but it was hard to crank and would not get over 2500 rpm. Changed back to stock computer and still same problem. Got the dealership to check it and it comes up as bad cam sensor. Not saying the regular was the cause but it was to close in time to not to think it may have, or it may have just been the sensors time to die.
