YOu can actually controll the emanage unit with out the profect-e01. The emanage retails for 380 and the software and cable is about $120. The optional fuel injector harness is around $40.
With this you can control your whole fuel setup as well as run additional injectors and leave the stock ones alone. You can also elminate fuel cut which is hen the stock injectors turn off when the car sees to much boost. You can also datalog etc.
I currently have this setup on my car now. My next step is to install my larger injectors, but I will not do so untill i get some voltage readings off the oxygen sensor to see what the stock setup reads. Will make it easier for me to adjust the emanage later on.
With the emnage, when you upgrade your injectors, alsl you need to do is enter the stock injector size, then enter the larger injector size. This will automaticly set it so it runs stock with larger injectors. YOu can then add more fuel uptop where you need it.
THis is not for the average person to install. YOu need to be familiar with your fuel setup and also wiring etc.
IAN, what are you using for a tach signal? The crank position, cam position and injectors are off and do not give a good signal. The camshaft is off by about 150-200 RPM. I had to use a tach adapter to get a solid RPM signal.
