Take the Toyota to the dealer with the same tripod and leave it for a month. Bet it won't be there when you pick it up. It's not limited to your Chrysler dealer. sorry, but common sense says to leave nothing valuable in the car when dropping it off for more than a day.

I'm with the Sheriff's office and most petty crimes and some grand theft's are crimes of opportunity. Your PT was probably sitting in the corner somewhere with the keys in the ignition, heck even the clean-up crew had access, and don't forget they sent it out to be fixed so the tripod cold have gone missing from there and not the dealership.

Sorry about your headliner. That is sad when they don't have the expertise on-hand to fix your problem.
