I first pretreated the spots with the spray foam and worked the foam in to the areas with a 4 in nylon bristle hand brush using normal pressure. Wiped with a damp cloth towel and then sprayed the whole seat and did the same cleaning using a hand brush with a pattern that went with and then across the grain to lift the dirt and foam. When I was done I rinsed the brush and went over it again with a second treatment. Wiped with a damp cloth and then used an absorbent Shamwow to suck up the residual cleaning foam and when dry vacuumed with a floor nozzle (6 in wide pattern). I had both coffee and soda on my seat due to a passenger who is a pig. (Thanks Chuck you dip). Results were all the spots came out. Ypu shoudl do the entire seat so if there is a slight color or tone shift when it drys the whole seat will match.

Now I remember that some years were treated with a special fabric agent but I cannot remember which years.

I will do a treatment of Scotchgard after they dry for 48 hours in an attempt to "Chuckproof" the seats.[

Hope this helped.
