The obvious reason that people are so upset is this...... The PT GT is supposed to be a performance vehichle, it was made with a more sport car type person in mind. Every PT before this one came with a rear sway bar which provided a much more stiff and "sport minded" handling. Now when the Turbo came out for some odd reason...chrysler decided to delete some of the performance in the car (the sway bar)....now, since chrysler is trying to appeal to people who want performance, why would they delete something that most performance people are going to want?

Well said. I read an SRT-4 review. That thing comes with a boost gauge and everything for sport and performance. (seats etc). We get mildly stiffened seats and actually lose performance function...note what daylite's been saying about firmware errors that rob performance and now take away the very thing that makes the turbo sporty. As is, it still sticks it's fat ass just as high as a stock n/a PT, has an anemic exhaust, unlike the SRT-4's and can only be diff'd from a n/a by the wheels and a mild chin lift...sigh. Love the car, but wished it looked more like the 1999 GT concept. Reminds me of what Ford did to the Taurus SHO before they killed it
