I am a brand new member...love my purple woody 2001 PT Cruiser. Bought it about 18 months ago with 55,000 miles now has 94,000 (we drive a lot).
It has been fabulous. Today while driving my check engine, air bag and brake light came on. My odometer began flashing with the reading and the
"no bus" or "no bu5" code. (once before we got a "no fuse" code so this may be what it is trying to say). My odometer, tacometer and heat gauge are not working. My fuel gauge is working. My husband tried checking the fuses (in box inside car by drivers side) but found nothing and he had to go to work. I just found this site and hope you can help me. I have already found and copied ObiMatt87's info on " IOD fuse effects and replacement hints". I also tried to see if my car would show the codes by turning the key on and off three times but did not show anything....may not work on older model like mine.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated and will be given to my husband who is the one who does our car repairs. thanks, Bonnie
