wouldn't the PCM throw a code if the TPS or a wire was bad?
I guess I am looking at 2 different problems. One I've had all along and the other just started after my work.
AH, such is the life of a car owner. Reminds me when I was in service and someone returns with a problem they didn't have till the shop worked on it.
