well, I tried to connect it to the parking brake but ended up braking the plastic piece of sh*t conector, only to find out that it didnt work with the greddy timer due to the fact that it needs a 12 Volt signal when the parking brake is released for it to shut down.
My fix was to connect it to the brake light switch connector. Mine is an automatic and you need to press the brake to move the stick from parking. It works great there. The connector is very easy to remove and tap into. If you want to go with this, tell me and I will tell you what cable to tap into.
Is your timer adding up time? mine stays in the setting that I give it. I think it should be adding time every time that the engine revs over 3000 RPM... I don't know if it is that i did something wrong in the setup or if it is damaged.
