Non-Stock Modifications
I am all for modifying the PT, it is so changable and responds to almost everything you do to it.
I just want to add a cautionary note to the NEW OWNERS. Chrysler, in it's warranty, has reserved the right to make your warranty null and void if they (or the dealership)think that ANY modification you made was a causative factor IN ANY DISPUTE. They are the judge.
(I was once denied warranty coverage for "witholding information" when they could not find the problem and I went out and pointed directly at the broken piece when I picked it up.)[:I]
I am NOT saying that ANYTHING bad will happen if you modify. Just don't believe everything you read on this site especially about ignoring the written statements of warranty cancellation and no warranty parts.
What i am saying to the newer owners is:
MAKE THOSE CHOICES WITH OPEN EYES,
KNOW THAT YOU ARE TAKING CHANCES,
DON'T BE SUPRISED IF YOU ARE THE ONE THAT HAS TO PAY THE PIPER![?]
