Default Re: 60k Service (dealer) Fuel system servicing

The way the dealer does it is to take a can of injector cleaner that's under pressure and attach it to the fuel rail and empty the can into the rail which causes the cleaner to to through all the injectors and the rail and clean them up.

From what you told me, you don't need it. BUT, if it's in your owners manual as something that should be done at 60K and your still under warranty, and you don't have any receipts for all the stuff you used, if something goes wrong with any of the injectors, they won't be covered.

Always keep your receipts. It's up to you if you want them to do the service. It's a good money making deal for them.

Check around at some of the auto places if you want it done. They can probably do it cheaper and keep their receipt.
