If you're talking about an actual button thats on the key itself, then this must be something new with 2007 and newer. The older, 2001-2006 transponder keys have no buttons on them. With two working transponder keys its a very simple 2 minute process to program a third, fourth, etc key. Its possible Chrysler changed something starting in 07, to prevent self-programming. I'll see what I can find out about this issue.
