There's two belts that could be slipping, the serpentine and alternator belt. Either one could be causing the squeak/squeal. The tensioner only works on the serpentine belt and could need changing itself. The alternator itself has to be adjusted to take up the slack of that belt.

The PT is about to turn 121k miles old. As you mentioned, it might be time for a new belt/s or the tenstioner. You are right! I will see if the alternator needs to be pushed a bit, and hopefully that will take care of my crying engine.

I'm going to look into that. I have seen the both of the belts, and I might fabricate something to keep water, and snow because we get snow too, from splasing up under there. I also need to look too see if it won't overheat, or my engine temps, if I do that.
