I see both your points and I respect your knowledge from other post. Have to agree with MeanGreen, the dyno results show nothing. It's kinda like flipping the air cleaner lid over on old Chevy pickups...doesn't do a thing for the performance but boy that waaaaaaaaaa sound is so cool it just
seems like you got a extra 10 or 20 out of doing it.
I removed the snorkels and installed K&N drop in's on both my GT and my NA....the GT kinda seemed a tad peppier to my butt, but the NA just got better mileage and a little teeny bit noisier. Look at it this way....removing the snorkels don't cost a penny and make you feel like a hotrodder/tuner in a smug sneaky way
