Gary - I had this problem when putting in my blue high beam bulbs.
Each bulb has 3 tabs, one smaller than the others.
The driver side bulb can only be inserted at 4 oclock and locked in at 6 oclock, but the metal housing is in the way.
I ended up taking a hot knife to one tab on the drivers side bulb, making it smaller.
That way I could insert the bulb with the 90 degree end at 10 o'clock and locking in at 12 o'clock.
BTW, First I lined it up by eye to see which one needed to be cut.
Hope this helps....Oh and im jealous!! Those are supposed to be sick bulbs!
