Got to say thanks to all the folks that welcomed us. Nice bunch of folks. I should probably give a nod too to the dealership that sold me the car, Bonneville & Sons in Manchester, NH. They gave me a great deal (trade in above the KBB price and overall deal below invoice, not including the $2500 incentive), and the customer service was great. When we discovered that the car in the color we wanted had a scratch on the top of the rear bumper, they didn't let it rest until it was fixed. Long story, but I brought it back twice at their request and they gave me the free rental and gassed it up and cleaned it each time (although 3 minutes later the car was covered in pollen each time, 'tis the season). The car had only 24 miles on it when I got it and I have no reason to believe it was otherwise mistreated. They also put up with the fact that it took 4 business days to get my old car's title from the dealership I bought it from that never sent it to me. Good bunch all in all. By the way, looked at it 6 ways to Sunday, no sign of the scratch now.

I now appear to be the only person where I work - at a 600 person office building - with a PT Cruiser. Hence my suspicion of this being a conservative area in terms of auto styles.

The top thing I hear is "that car is so small" but I tell them it's a portable black hole, you can put tons more inside than you think you can, including myself.
