Champion plugs?I've never heard good things about Champion plugs,do they do good in PT's?I was planning on putting some plain NGK platinum G-Powers.Thats why I run in my 85' Chevy C10 and i've had good luck with em.If they stock plug is a plain old Champion copper plug why do they recommend all these double platinum and fine wire plugs?(I work at Advance Auto Parts so I checked on all of the replacement options)[/QUOTE]

Because Chrysler is cheap. the champions work very well as long as you repalce them evry 30K. most of the replacement plugs are there for longer service intervals. now if you have the stage one kit installed they have there own set of plug they would like you to use on the instructions but not every one uses them.
With the valve cover gasket i would just take it to the dealer. They are a 8!TCH! and if you get it wrong you can only blame youself. and not be able to take it back and have it fixxed for free. it will be expensive but the "stealer" works on them the most. the NGK's work great!! the new "E3 Diamond fires" work well. i have them in my 98 Neon R/T and and they got rid of my dead spot in the rpm range between 2800 and 3000. oh and make sure to use MSD 8.5 wires or the Grinnelli(?) from moderernperfromance.com. and gap your plugs around .028 and .035 this combo will get rid of most of the shakes adn rattles and low idle in drive w/ autos and a/c on in manuals at stop lights.
