Default HURST shifter improvements!

Hi,

after having installed my Husrt short throw shifter on my GT I still felt it beeing to sloopy, especially on the sideway movements of the stick.
This can be heavily improved with two small additions:
1. Put a short piece of heat shrinking "tube" over the small ball at the and of the left handed pin that actuates the crossover lever for the left shifter cable. That reduces the gap between the small ball and the white plastic bushing thus reducing play in that direction.
2. Put a thin piece of plastic between the Hurst pivot housing and the black pivot socket itself, on the opposite side of the opening for the crossover lever actuator pin in the housing. This reduces the tendency of the pivot socket's gaps (which are necessary to slide the socket over the big ball oft the stick) to be pryed when the lever is moved sideways. That plastic material you use should not be too thick, otherwise the shift lever will be jammed in the pivot socket! For exact fit it is recommended to cut the plastic in an "E" shape to fill the space between the pivot housing and the socket as good as possible.

This improves precision of the shifter very much.

Because of my weak English, I add two pictures as attachments. Second picture (updated) shows the approximate shape of the plastic material.
