Cool Re: RainX 2 in 1 window cleaner...

Rain X starts to foam?
Are you combining it with window cleaner???
I HOPE NOT!
1. You should wash the car and clean all deposits, bugs, etc. off of the windows. No combining chemicals!
2. Then, a squirt a "little" Rain X on a soft cloth rubbed, in overlapping circle, all over the window. A little goes a long way. I usually on have to re-squirt the rag two or three times for the whole windshield.
3. I use two cloths: first cloth gets most of it off; then the second clean cloth to rub (hard) all the streaks off.
4. Then I sometimes lightly go over the window with a paper towel dampened in Windex.
**If you simply rub with a cloth only once, it leaves a little fog on the window, that is especially noticable at night. I will even sometimes, just run my wipers with the window spray to wipe the excess off.
***But, even using a little Windex afterwards does not diminish the window treatment....I treat my window about every 3 months. I don't even need the wipers, if they should fail....as the water sheets off with great visibility.

Combine this regimine with a set of custom Silblades, and you won't have to worry about windshiel visibility for years!
