Does the car have a boost gauge and air/fuel gauge? You'd have to at least have those two gauges with a big turbo. You'd have to at least have a boost gauge with an upgraded adjustable wastegate (wga). Without a boost gauge and an upgraded adj wga you wouldn't know what boost you are running and could possibly run lean and blow the motor. You could possibly have the Mopar blow off valve, but it is only a noise maker. I have to seriously doubt a Kia dealer would know all this, especially what it is all about, when even 99.9999% of all Chrysler dealers would have no clue what has been done to the car. You probably have a very nice turbo lite PT, but the dealer was less than truthfull or didn't know what they are talking about.

Thanks I hear you here's my plan... Bringing the PT into the Chrysler dealer where I believe the original owner bought it and I know for sure from carfax that it's been worked on there. I purchased an extended warranty so I will have the tranny checked since it downshifts hard from 2nd gear to 1st when tranny cold upon braking to a stop about twice a day in the cold morning.I will also have them identify the goings on with this really awesome car. BTW I just got about 230 miles to a tank of gas from F to E. I have a tendency to drive with the cruise control quite often. Maybe the Jet module has a little to do with that as well. I'll post a follow up after I get the PT back from Dealer...
