No.
Us professional mechanics would rather gather information from the PCM datastream to determine if a part is not working properly.
We don't throw parts at a car in hopes of a change in driveability.
Every sensor and switch gives a data PID to my scanners. The MAP & TPS are very easy to watch & record for diagnostic research.

No sensor gets changed without recording the datastream before and after. Those printed performance reports verify that the fault is repaired.
