all of the above are true however nothing stopped the Dodge Trucks they pretty much set the standard on diesels and really they are just a 6 banger
(its funny the always compare Chevy and ford to the Cummings they are big bad v8's going up and losing agins a 6 cyl--got ta love it)
Me I cant see any reason that the PT is not offered in a diesel the VW TDI is a awesome power plant great millage and tons of get up and go
You go find a VW bug wiht a diesel and it will be $100's higher than a non diesel
The Pt would have been a great car to try some thing in and the really sad part is they already had them in production
