As one who has a mechanical water temp gauge installed you may be interested to know that I've seen my gauge peg @240 degrees when outside temp is up and car has been run hard and then idled...it takes all of the 3 minute cooldown to get it down below 210 . That being said how well do you think the water-cooled turbo is being cooled since water boils @212 ? I know coolant would raise boiling point but to what?
