Default Re: Stage 1 Kit official or aftermarket?

Got the S1 installed and ran through the quick-learn.
Wow, what a difference! MUCH faster than it was before...

Plugs are still gapped at .040 but next time I change them I will go down to .035 per the instructions that came with the S1 kit. It is running strong, so I dont think I will have much of a problem in the interim.

Broke 1 of the red clips on the connectors that go into the PCM, but I used some cable ties to fasten that connector and its wire to the one next to it -- so hopefully it wont pull out due to vibration.

Notice a sound that sounds like lifter tick now, but that could be a bunch of things according to the guys over at ptcrew. Also hear some flutter when letting off the gas as low rpms, but also read that is normal.

I think next I am going to run some custom gauges, and make some modifications to improve handling (hood strut, etc.) was also looking at going to the composite intake manifold and bigger exhaust for even more power, but I think that might be more trouble than what I would get out of it as a return. For a bolt on, the S1 is a huge return on the amount of work invested. It amazes me since the 04 already came with the proper injectors, that Chrysler didnt just program the PCMs like the S1 is set up right from the get-go. Could have probably sold more in the turbo configuration that way...
