Well Gary, in my younger years I did have dogs that thought exactly that.
But with these two dogs and the two cats, no way.! They don't even think of getting on the furniture, let alone venturing onto the formal side of the house. My wife even boots them out of the house and onto the lani while she mops and vacuums, all the time with the lani doors wide open. They just sit there and watch her do her thing. As soon as she is done they come wandering back in. I do let Anchor slide though, he thinks the bath tub is furniture.[:I]
