Default Chrome / Billet Steering Wheel Caps
After REALLY digging the look of the chrome steering wheel spoke caps on the 2004 GT's, have seen a few aftermarket companies selling billet versions that just clip or clamp on.

Does anyone have any experience with these? How does polished billet compare looks or performance-wise with plain old chrome?

Most importantly, it's been said that you should NEVER attach anything to a steering wheel w/airbags due to the fact that in an accident, you've got nice little projectiles now flying about the cabin. Would this logic hold true with the steering wheel spoke caps? I realize they're not ON the airbag, but still...

I love the look, but I'd hate to have shrapnel coming at me if the airbag were ever deployed.

Any insight is GREATLY appreciated!
