Your more then welcome to get the lesser sound from the 5.25 speakers, and pay the same price... Or you can look and find them EASILY and have the better sound, and not have the headache of whatever cutting he is refering to...

I understand your offering an option, but you make it sound as if a 6.5" speaker is a special order only size... Run to walmart, sitting on the shelf waiting is the CORRECT size for your PT...
