I've thought about a convertible a few times. Maybe when I figure out how to mount my lights and roof mounted UHF antenna so that neither looks crappy and will be functional, maybe then I'll think about it.
Same thought process in manual trans versus auto. I haven't figured out yet how to have one hand on the steering wheel, another on the shifter and a third one on the mobile radio's mic.
So for now a convertible and manual transmission is not an option
