PT Cruiser Forum - View Single Post - check engine on, automatic only third gear

so, after I reset the first error, and took the car for a ride, after it tried to change from the first to second gear the check engine light came on again, but now the error code is:

P0605 Control Module Programming Read Only Memory (ROM)

I checked all the wires for damage and they seem OK, I'm lost...
