my daughter called me an hour ago and told me her 2001 was hot.
i just replaced this fan motor 3 weeks ago. got it home and checked to see if fan was coming on with a/c switch activated. it did not come on. so i went to test the new fan motor. when i started to disconnect the fan for testing i realized the plugs were extremely hot. when disconnected i noticed the center (ground) terminal was melted. i cleaned this melted area and reconnected the terminals and it started running. my question is could this new fan (FROM ORIELLY AUTO PARTS) be drawing too much power and causing this ?
