I figured I'd go ahead and drop the intro thread for folks so I don't get banned for asking too many questions when folks don't even know me yet.
First, I'm a long time gear head, and have been playing with engines since my dad and I built his Chevy LUV (dropped a 383 in her just for giggles) when I was 13. My problem is I'm a cheap ass and my money typically goes towards that elusive retirement, so I can work on engines as much as I want when I no longer *HAVE* to work.
Second, I can take apart and rebuild any engine dodge made prior to the computer age (think circa 1980's 318 and bigger) in about a day and a half, but get me near these computer run cars, and I get stupid. Which is why I'm here

. Most issues I can work through, but I sure do miss messing with the carb(s) and timing to get just the right pull.
Third, I am a self described and self taught computer (home and web) geek. My family is my first love, with my wife calling my computers and electronic geek toys my "mistresses". My cars come a close third to the geek stuff.
Lastly, I work in the health industry repairing X-Ray, CT, Nuclear Gamma Cameras and MRI systems. I currently live in Williamsburg, Virginia. I drive an '04 Limited Edition PT. She's my daily driver, the family hauler, and the fishing vehicle

(don't ask ... long story for another time ... Darwin won that day ...). I'm in the process if reviving my wife's 2000 Neon, and am oggling one of them new Calibers, but just can't bring myself to settle on it until this whole thing with MoPar is settled. I will never own or drive anything but a Mopar.
Anyway, I hope to make some friends here, and glean some good information. Perhaps I can provide some as well, hopefully without pissing anyone off in the process

.
Oh, for the cruiser, is there anyone in the hampton roads vicinity that can provide a good body shop that can do the body work / paint that I have planned for her?
