Just a suggestion-- you may want to look into picking up an aftermarket headunit anyway, as there's a drastic improvement in sound quality over the stock unit, depending on which company you go with.
It's a relatively easy install and I (and I'm sure many others on this board) would be more than willing to guide you through it if need be.
About the mopar sub, I don't have any experience with it, so I couldn't tell ya.
