Default Just as a precaution..

So, I went ahead and installed a set of Xenon "HID-like" bulbs in my PT, which I thoroughly enjoy and am EXTREMELY pleased with.

My problem, however, is that I love my clear headlights on my PT (as opposed to those I've seen with the etched/clouded headlights) and am concerned that the added heat from the bulbs may eventually do some sort of damage to the lenses on the my headlights.

I dislike drilling, cutting, and hacking away at things on my PT, but has anyone installed these and thought about using a small drill somewhere on the housing to allow heat to escape? It would obviously have to be towards the back of the housing, and towards the top as well (to prevent any water from entering the housing)..

..Is this doable? Or should I just forget it and quit worrying?
