hello i have the answer that noone has i am 17yrs tech and this one stumped me misfire cyl 4 only at idle #1 the intakes (lower) are famous for leaking so it would niot hurt to purchase 1 (approx. $100) once the intake is off you can clean the intake valves just be careful not to bent them or get the carbon in the cyl. with out being able to blow it out #2 the egr valve is leaking thru the diaphram causing a massive vaccum leak which can only be seen if a scanner is hooked up and feul trim is being watched in real time once you spray carb cleaner into the diaphram the trim will drop into the low minus like -22% #3 not only is the egr leaking but the egr tube gasket is also leaking ($1.95 from dealer) this occurs because of the removal of the upper intake to replace the plugs the egr valve is sold with the back pressure transducer from the dealer for about $136 list again it took me a lonfg time to figure this out so i felt the nned to share it with everyone since everyone thinks it is the plugs and wires good luck and spread the word-lenny
