Then drove it for about 10 miles without speedo or odo (*see foot note*) keeping it WAY out off boost till I got to the dealership to put the Pinion Factor in and since it was there for that, I had dealership do the transmission quick learn procedure while it was there. took them about 45 minutes but cost me $115 for the 1 hour "Diagnostic" fee that they had to charge me to connect it to the computer.

*guys and girls, Just remember when you install stage 1 that you might need to have the following done as well after installing the stage 1 if your speedometer or odometer do not work.
You would have been charged either way, since they did the quick learn for the trans you get charged an hour of tranny tech time for them to do the programming.. So don't feel you got ripped or anything, it was really standard stuff. Just FYI

Just some general FYI for anyone thinking of a used S1 PCM. Call Flight Systems they do the programming for Mopar so they put the S1 data on the PCM and do transfer VIN#s to PCMs that are used. Yes they do charge for the service and it is COD only. But you can avoid some delay after you buy a used S1 if you have the seller drop ship to Flight Systems, they in turn ship to you COD only. The COD requirement is how I have always seen it done with them.

Call to confirm all information, since things may have changed since the bankruptcy.

Info is current as of Oct 7, 2008:

Flight Systems
