best grits I've had since the last time I was In Pendleton.
i'm happy to be back home though. were there is actually green stuff.
good old Linn/Benton County. (Grass Seed Capitols of the World...I guess.)
That means lots of green. i mean just google earth it. lol.
I did bring some sagebrush back with me. thats not something we get very much of in the valley and the smell of the sagebrush is overwhelming.
The last time I was in Pendleton it rained and I could just smell the rain coming for miles. It was something hard to forget.
And the sunsets there are just beautiful. I just wish I could have made a trip to the blue mountains where Chief Joseph and the Nez Peirce lived before getting kicked out in the 1970's. And seen the sunset from there.
