Default Re: Yellow/Scratched headlights

I bought and used the Meguiars kit today. AVOID this purchase in my opinion. It comes with a small bottle of Plastix a microfiber towel and a buffing pad. The buffing pad throws yellow fibers everywhere when using it so you use the microfiber towel more for removing them off your car. The towel is actually for removing left over Plastix off your headlights. It makes them a little clearer but not worth the $24.99. On mine it still shows the edge from where the oxidation stopped. I used the buffing wheel with my 18.9 Ryobi drill. If your headlights are not yellowed yet then just buy the Plastix to protect them otherwise buy something else. 3M has a kit out now for $20.00 and it comes with sanding wheels that attach to your drill.

Since I still have some product I will do I before and after with my Intrepid.
