Thanks, Crewzin. I got it done. Took the engine vanity cover off and that made it much easier to see what I was doing. Surprisingly, the old one came out very easily - never had one come out so easily before. I just spayed it down with Liquid Wrench last night and this morning it turned out real nicely - no warming of the manifold or anything (which I have had to do in the past). Now I just have to drive it to see if the P0171 comes back or not.
