That is a lot of weight to stormchase with and it wouldn't work here because of the ground clearance..I have a 85 Bronco that we use..Transplanted 460,posi both ends, lift kit, radar and nav equipment removed from my cessna 310 when I had the panel upgraded,Basic commercial camcorder system with light amplification for night shots, basic weather inst.NWS Link , Ham and commercial radio equipment.dual GPS with tracking, satellite telephone,Onan Microlite 4000 generator,500 watt quartz flood lights, water tank and 12V Ice chest and all this added less than 1200 Lbs.extra..Also used as a Disaster communications vehicle..Pull a trailer with a crank up radio tower , ham radio equipment and antennas, larger diesel generator fuel tanks ,shelter, food, water, etc. Been to Katrina ,Rita ,Ike and many more since it was built...
