I have an '05 Turbo Lite convertible. I've always run it on regular unleaded. Over the years I've read countless threads about gas. I've just read back through a couple dozen of them to see if the answer to my question is there.

Consensus is the turbo lite should run on regular unleaded and the GT should run on premium. There's some disagreement as to whether or not the GT can run on the lower grades. Some say not to go below mid grade. Most people think there's no pint to running the Lite on premium.

I did see one post that in a thread that said the '06 Turbo lite is recommended to run on mid-grade even though it's the same set up as the '05 Lite.

So here's my question: Is there any benefit to runnning the Lite on mid grade?
