Re: Follow Up on A/C problems
FSU, I just went though the no AC on our 2003. After doing all the high tech stuff like assuming sensors were bad and AC was under/over charged, we found that the high speed portion of the fan was bad. Took it all apart, replaced the fan motor and radiator since it was leaking, and hoses and belts and bleeder screw, and added 24 ounces of 134A, and now it works fine again.
Even cooler is I found that the reason the fan motor quit on high speed is one of the brushes is worn out. So, I am having a motor shop replace it and will have it ready to go back on to replace the cheap import one I had to buy.
