I've started to hear a ticking/clicking noise coming from my front left (drivers side) wheel at low speeds and what can only be described as a weird ass noise at high speeds that comes and goes in waves. Both of these, I believe, are related to my suspension system. Any ideas what could cause these noises?

I have a meeting with my mechanic today. He's going to give me his expert opinion on the suspension system and hopefully give me a solution. But before we meet, I'd like to gain a slight idea of what is going on down. Any input would be great.
