I might hear the same "noise", but the fluid level seems fine.

The power steering "noise" tends to whine during cold nights, right after start-up. Even if you don't turn the wheel, it will intermitently whine. More so, if you turn the wheel.

After it warms up to operating temp, it's almost unnoticeable.

I wonder if we have the same issue??
