Just discovered that my lower intake manifold has a crack.
The crack was caused by the previous owner tightening the upsidedown bolt that holds the upper end of the oil stick to the lower intake manifold. The dip stick bracket rotated into the bottom edge of the manifold and caused a 2" split in the plastic.
Is this an odd failure?
