Question HELP!! Changed the battery now the top won't go up!!!

Hey guy's/gal's I've done some "trolling", found a few similar problems, but nothing exactly like this and was wondering if anyone could help...

My Fiancee has a 2005 PT Convertible GT, her battery died while the top was down today. I replaced the battery... all is good, no problems... Until about 15 minutes later she calls me from the car wash telling me that the top won't go up. I tell her to come back home, not to worry, it's probably just a fuse... She got home, I checked both fuses, the one under the hood, and the one in the car itself BOTH were perfectly fine...

Come to find out AFTER doing a little research that there is a specific sequence you are supposed to remove, and replace the battery terminals... I'm pretty sure I did it completely "bass ackwards"!! I'm I totally eff'd? Did I fry something? Can I just disconnect the terminals (in the right order this time) let the circuits "bleed" for about 10-15 minutes, then reconnect (once again, in the right order)? OR do I need to do something "drastic", and take it to the dealer?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! I Need to get the top back up ASAP! w/o the headache of doing it manually!

Thank you in advance,
Beau
