That's good info. I can't quite remember what's in the vicinity of my oil filter, but I'm sure it's very similar to what you did. I'm definitely going to have to invest in some ramps or something, though.

Another quick question-- when you buy the pod, does it matter what color the pillar is beneath it? (The stock one) Or does the pod not completely cover the stock pillar? Just cause there's someone with a junked PT on here that I'd like to get the pillar from but I'm not sure if the color matters. (Not sure what they have, either.)

Thanks again man, I appreciate it, and I'll probably consult you a bit more as I go through with this.
I went with gauges that have black faces and white numbers, and black frames. I didnt want anything too fancy, and I wanted to be sure I could see the numbers at night. Also, my boost gauge is a boost / vac gauge. So, if you have trouble finding a place to TEE into, just find the line on the throttle body. It reads vaccume also. My gague reads vac all the time. The only time boost moves is if I stomp on it.

You need ramps for sure. Go to wal mart auto section, get the grey or black resin ramps. They are light, and easy to carry, and hold 12000 lbs.

The pillar under the gauge pod, well if it doesnt match you can paint it. My gauge pod completely covered mine, so it worked out well.

Yea, you know how to reach me
