Default Front Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly Help

Hello, I read a bunch of posts and it seems the wheel bearing problem is quite common, and I'm pretty sure mine has run into that one now.

I have 2006 with about 60k on it, just a normal one nothing fancy. When I'm driving down the road it makes a grinding noise and when I turn the wheel left it goes away but turning it right does nothing, so I know the problem is in the left bearing.

My question is, do I need to replace the whole hub assembly or just the bearing? Also, what tools/equipment do I need to complete this job? I've done a lot of engine work on cars but never did anything with the suspension so it's new territory for me, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-Mike
